This project focused on creating intimate, biophilic dining zones within a Japanese barbecue restaurant. Using natural materials and sculptural forms, we carved out areas that provide visual and acoustic relief, offering guests a more private and comfortable dining experience.

A major challenge was integrating the mechanical systems required for in-table grill ventilation. We used custom wood forms to conceal ductwork and vents, ensuring the infrastructure was visually integrated into the design. These elements were developed through parametric modelling and delivered as fabrication-ready packages for the contractor, streamlining construction and maintaining design integrity.

Our team provided full architectural and interior design services, secured permits, and coordinated with consultants throughout the project.
