Process

Listening + Discovery

We begin by listening to clients, to place, to culture, to constraints. We collect site intelligence, precedent inspiration, program needs, and stakeholder insight. These early conversations shape the project’s conceptual foundation and intent.

Concept + Material Development

We work from material and message outward. Early sketching, physical modelling, and narrative framing drive the development of conceptual diagrams and spatial strategies.

Design Development+ Iteration

Using BIM from the start, we translate concept into robust drawing package, but our culture of design remains the primary driver. Materials, details, and assemblies are tested in dialogue with program, performance, and budget. We engage collaborators, engineers, fabricators, and other consultants to make decisions in real time.

Technical Documentation + Coordination

Once resolved, the design moves into technical production. Our BIM systems allow for high-fidelity documentation: drawing sets, quantities, phasing, and specifications. Changes propagate globally. We extract model-based cost estimates and coordinate across disciplines to produce a tightly integrated deliverables.

Delivery + Detailing

We work as active advocates for the design during the build phase collaborating with contractors to solve real-world challenges without compromising integrity. Every RFI and site adjustment is viewed as an opportunity to refine the craft.

Our involvement continues through construction administration, ensuring fidelity to the design’s intent.

Completion & Evaluation

The life of a building begins at handover. We remain involved to evaluate how the design translates into lived experience. By documenting the finished space and reflecting on its performance, we close the loop of our creative process and evolve our practice for the next challenge.
